5. Portsmouth, Dominica
If you’re dreaming of soaking up some Caribbean sun then the fastest growing destination in the Caribbean right now is Portsmouth on the island of Dominica.
Portsmouth is a small but charming city (on the coast of a small but charming island), and it is best known for its outstanding natural beauty.
If your idea of the perfect tropical vacation involves beaches, waterfalls, and breathtaking national parks, then this is the place to be.
Some of the main attractions in Portsmouth are the Syndicate Falls and the Cabrits National Park.
The Cabrits National Park is no ordinary national park. It includes not only the tropical rainforest you might expect, but also wetlands and even a protected coral reef.
There’s also the ruins of an 18th century military fort and an abundance of lizards call this site home. Access costs $5.00 per person per day.

Baltimore is a fascinating harbor city that is drawing crowds because it has something to offer every type of traveler.
Downtown Baltimore is relatively compact, which makes it refreshingly walkable. Attractions such as the Maryland Science Center, National Aquarium, and American Visionary Arts Museum are all in one close location.
One of the most popular attractions in Baltimore is to explore Fort McHenry. This will appeal to history buffs and patriots alike, as this is the place where the Star Spangled Banner was composed.
